In the Introduction of my book, MANipulated Into Fear, I talk about how I was going to name my book, Nobody Cares. The more I talked to friends and family the more I realized that they did care; it was just that I was too embarrassed and ashamed to reach out to them. I read through what I had written up to chapter 10 and learned that my book was about me being manipulated into fear, and there was always a pattern. I began to see the traits and patterns of Rolf and discovered that he was also a psychopath. I did my research and found that I was correct.
By sharing the patterns of an abuser and telling my story, I knew that I was definitely going to educate and help other victims of abuse.
In the Prologue, writing about my childhood and past years, I was enlightened to learn that I had lived in an abusive environment which made me aware of how I endured such pain while being manipulated into fear and abused by Rolf.
Because of the education and knowledge I have gained, my sequel White Roses In A Dream is about my traits, patterns and action plans. By sharing these, I am able to inspire and give hope to others that are in an abusive relationship, educate them about patterns of abuse in families, and have them realize how a relationship between two people should be.
When you disclose the truth, you may be helping someone very near and dear to your heart as well as others.
If you help just one person by telling your story then it was all worth it.
